Newborn Photos
Our dear friend Janine has been taking our newborn pictures so that she can get a little more practice taking great photos... I think she is ready! I love the way these came out. Our family photo just makes my face glow! Thank you Janine! I will post the rest as soon as I have them!
Derby Car
Makenna has an upcoming derby car race for her tribes group. She was given a block of wood and some tools to make a car. She went with dad to her friend Sydney's house to make her car. I can't wait to see the cars race!
Sibling Love
We are truly blessed. Makenna and Wyatt love their new brother. Makenna came out the other morning with a book that was given to Owen to read it to him. Wyatt held him as she read. The love was magical!
Wyatt's new hair do!
A few days ago Makenna had her Doc McStuffins phone out and called our hairdresser Stephanie. She had this entire fake conversation about how I haven't taken them to get a hair cut in forever and they really needed one! I died laughing and immediately called Stephanie. Lucky for the kids, she fit them in a few days later. My little buddy is starting to look like a big kid. I can't believe how time flies!
Cold and Rainy Weather
California has finally got some cooler weather blowing in. No one is more excited about the cold than the kids. We have been telling them that we could have a fire and roast marshmallows as soon as it was cold. Here are the great memories that we made during the rainy weather!
Owen's first bath
Owen really enjoyed his first bath. The big kids can't wait until he is big enough to take a bath with them!
No Training Wheels!
I was in need of some fresh air last weekend. We loaded up the kids and went to the park. We decided to try and see if Wyatt was ready to take off his training wheels. He did great! I can't wait for him to keep practicing!
Owen James Richey
Here are some great pictures of the first days of Owen's life. You can see our first family picture as a family of 5, Wyatt and Owen's first bonding moments and some sweet pictures of him!
It's a BOY!!!!
I went into labor on my own on February 12th around 7:30PM. we drove to the hospital where it was decided to do the c-section that night. I REALLY wanted to have the baby on the 12th, so I asked the doctors to try to make the c-section happen by midnight! lol
Daddy and I getting ready to meet the newest member of the family!
Daddy in his surgical gear, ready to go into the OR!
This birth was really special for daddy... it was the first time that he was able to cut the umbilical cord.

Having a little fun at a few minutes old!
How can you not love this sweet little face?!
Here are some of the visitors that came to see our newest bundle of joy!
A very special thank you to Ome, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa Richey for helping to take care of Makenna and Wyatt while we were in the hospital. Because of the flu going around, the kids were not allowed to visit at the hospital!
The twins turn 5!
The twins decided to have a luau for their 5th birthday. They had a hula teacher, face painting, a bounce house, tattoos and so much more! Makenna even took out one of my old mu mu's to wear to the celebration. What a great time it was!!
I cannot get enough of this picture. It is perfection in every way!
Here I am 39 weeks pregnant!
La Brea Tar Pits
I had to do another field trip for school, but this time Ome and the gang joined us! We drove out to La Brea Tar Pits to explore dinosaurs, fossils and more! The kids had a great time exploring all of the exhibits! We even got to see real tar! =)
The Rock Wall
Makenna had the opportunity to rock climb. She did really great, but started getting nervous as she went. We are so proud of how far she made it. She is already telling us that she will go all the way to the top and ring the bell next time! You go girl!
