My first snow trip!

This week Grandpa D took us to Mammoth. Mommy and Daddy were really excited because they got to "hit the mountain"... whatever that means! I was so lucky because I got to play in the snow. I had a snow suit and everything!! :) Daddy even took me down a hill on a sled. (The video will follow soon!) While we were outside, my cuz Ryder and I decided to pose for a few photos! We really hope you like them! My uncle Travis, david, and Bryan built the tallest snowman we had ever seen. About 8 feet tall! Check out our pictures standing by it! Who knew that snow could be so much fun! I can't wait to do it again!

My first Christmas

My first Christmas was AMAZING. It looked like Santa threw up Christmas all over grandma's house! My cuz Ryder and I had a blast. We really are the luckiest kids! Grandma Sandy bought a rocking horse to keep at her house (here is Ryder testing it out!). I can't wait until I am big enough to ride it! We also got our own small chairs. They have our names on them and everything. It makes me feel so important! I also got a princess walker (for when I am a little bit older), a big girl Ohio State chair and so much more. I am going to have so much fun when I get to see everything again at home. The best part was getting to see myfamily all over again. Mommy's cousin Danielle even came out all the way from Kansas. I really like falling asleep in her arms. I love Christmas! I can't wait until next year....

Going to visit Santa!

Before Christmas came my mommy, Aunt Andrea and Auntie Katrina wanted to take us babies to see the raindeer at the zoo. Well... our day changed a little bit when we all decided to go see santa instead. We waited in line like good little boys and girls so we could have our time with santa... and boy was it worth it. Santa was SOOOO nice. He made sure that I got all that I wished for. My cousin Ryder and girlfriend Clarissa had a great time too. We are really lucky babies! Mommy had to put a picture of me in the stroller because I had so much fun playing while we waited!

Eating and playing!

These past weeks have been really exciting for me. Not only was it Christmas, but Dr. Glasser gave mommy permission to start giving me "real" food! I started with squash and now I am eating carrots. I like carrots A LOT better than squash! Eating like a big girl is really fun. Mommy and Daddy are also feeding me prunes. I like to make a REAL mess while eating. After all, what are bibs for!!

Christmas at Mrs. Christy's

Every holiday Mrs. Christy has a party for all of the day care students at her house. This year was my first Christmas party! I loved it!! Mrs. Christy bought me a small elmo backpack for all my toys! I had so much fun spending time with my friends! I can't wait until next year!

snow

These are a few photos of the early days of snow. Jamie had some great shots from his job sites too! We ended up having a snow day from school because some areas in Las Vegas got over 8" of snow. Makenna's daycare built a snowman and took photos. I will do my best to try to get them posted soon!

Celebrate!

Many things have been happening lately. First I turned 4 months old! Yippeee!! Second, I got to see my first real snow! Yep, it snowed here in Las Vegas. Daddy's jobsite got almost 7" of snow!! I put on my warm Christmas PJ's and tights to keep me warm! I also enjoyed reading Great-Aunt Linda's Christmas card. I think I really like snoopy!! :)

Getting in the spirit of the season

My mom has been trying to get excited for the Christmas season, so she decided to dress me up. Here are a few of the pictures that we took. Aren't I looking so cute!?!?!

FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!!

This week really had its ups and downs, but boy was this an up! When I went to the doctor on Monday for my follow up they told me that I could start eating rice cereal! (Because I lost so much weight being sick, I am now in the 50% for my weight! We'll get me chubby again in no time!) My mom and dad were so excited to feed me "real" food. At first I wasn't so sure about it. I even tried sucking my thumb while eating!! I think that I will like it more each time I try it!!:)

Getting Visitors

Over my time here lots of my friends came to visit me. Kendal and Blaire came to visit me on Saturday. It was so nice to see some new faces. Kendal even gave me my first carebear!! My uncle Vic and his girlfriend Kim even came to the hospital to visit while they were in town. I wasn't too nice to them though. The first time I was hungry so all I did was scream and the second time I was sleeping! Oh well. There is always next time. I am such a lucky girl!

Since I have been in the hospital a while, I have had a few visitors. The Kirch family brought me beautiful princess balloons! Kendall also gave me my first carebear!! I was so excited! It is my favorite color... PURPLE!!! It was nice to see other friends. This hospital room isn't so fun to sit in ALL DAY!

Days in the hospital

As many of you heard, I am in the hospital. My mommy and grandma had to take me in on Thursday when I was still puking (after 9 days)! The ER doctors had to put an IV in (after 13 pokes they finally got it in my head :( The NICU nurse finally got it!) I wasn't allowed to eat for the first 24 hours so that my belly could rest. On Friday night I got to drink some pedialyte. It was yummy. Here are some pictures of me in the ER, being transported to my room on the pediatric floor with grandma, talking to the nurse, taking a rest on the bed (Before getting poked for the second IV in my head) and hanging out with my new binkie/dog. The hospital is not so much fun, but atleast I have my mommy, grandma and daddy!
