Almost 4!

After our trip we went down to GG's house to pick some veggies and say hi!  I was so excited to find out she was babysitting Rex!  I love that dog.  I hope I get a dog for my birthday... it is all I want!  Mommy and daddy can't believe that I am going to be 4 so soon!!

Our Spot

This year we got a really cool spot.  It had a HUGE sandy beach for all of the kids to play on.  I think it was the best place yet.  I am already counting down the days until next year.  Daddy said that he is going to go next year!  Yea!!!

Boat Trip

One of the greatest things to have on this trip is Papa's boat.  He can take us on little trips or just out for a tube ride.  One day everyone went to Rainbow Bridge to pick up Lynne and Dave.  I stayed home with mommy so I could feel better.  Another day we drove to see ancient homes that were built into caves. It was really neat to see how people lived long ago.  That boat is so much fun!!

Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!!

The first three days we were on the boat all it did was rain!  It ended up being a good thing because Papa, Ome and I all got the stomach flu.  I spent one of the days laying on the couch relaxing and enjoying the sound of rain!

Days in the water

Like I mentioned before, the water days were the best.  It was also pretty hot, so the water helped to cool us off.  It was not uncommon to see my brother or Becker running around naked.  They were just way happier with nothing on!!  Ryder loved going off the slide!  I didn't try it this year, but I know I will next year!!  Lake Powell is just AWESOME!!

Lake Powell 2012

Lake Powell is my favorite trip every year!  I know that no matter what we do or where we go I get to SWIM!!!  This year it was great because I had learned so much from swim lessons!  Mommy enjoyed the beautiful views and swimming with me.  This year daddy couldn't go, but we missed him EVERY day.  Wyatt, well Wyatt enjoyed everything but the heat!  Thank goodness we had popcicles for him!  We spent our days fishing, playing with the Barth family, swimming and eating.  If you ask me, this is the best kind of vacation!!

Happy 4th of July

Our 4th of July was GREAT this year!  We had finally finished moving from Las Vegas to Ome's house.  We got to spend the day with our family just having fun.  Ryder and I stayed up late to watch the fireworks with everyone!  What good times!!

On Thursday after swim lessons Ryder told me that he was going to ride the train down to the beach with papa.  As soon as I found this out I knew I had to join them!  I had never been on a long train ride down to the beach!  Papa was great and agreed to take us on the train!  Here is our train pulling up and all of us getting off.  SO MUCH FUN!

At the new Beach House

Ome and Papa re-built their beach house to make it a little bit bigger.  Boy is it beautiful!!  Grandma Richey even popped in one afternoon to say hi to Makenna and I.  We got to spend the week playing in the sand, eating ice cream and just plain having fun!  I can't for all of the memories that are ahead of us!

Leaving Las Vegas

The time has come for us to leave Las Vegas.  Jamie got a great job based out of Irvine, CA.  We knew that it was the perfect opportunity for us to be closer to some of our family and move out of Las Vegas.  At first our move was suppose to be to San Jose.  You can see from our earlier posts that we found a house and moved in.  We spent about three weeks there when Jamie's company decided they needed him down in Irvine.  We left the house in San Jose and decided to move in with Ome and Papa  until we found a new house to live in.  Who knows where life will take us, but we are VERY excited for our new journey as a family.  Here are some pictures of our house empty.  It is bitter sweet to see the house empty and say good bye to all of our hard work, but I know this is the best decision for our family.  Here is to amazing memories ahead!! <3, Mommy

Makenna's First Dentist Visit

Before we left town we took Makenna in for her first Dentist Visit.  She was so scared, but Just for Kids Dentistry made her feel so comfortable.  All and all it went good... just two melt downs.  She got an A+ on her dentist report card!  Lets hope it stays that way!

Shark Reef

On the second day of my cousins visit we went to explore the Shark Reef!!  Did you know that they have WAY more than just sharks?  Wyatt and Gavin had so much fun telling eachother what they saw (or atleast that is what I thought they were doing!)  Shark Reef is a really cool place to go and visit.
