Weekend Away

This past weekend mommy and daddy took a weekend trip to Reno to visit Uncle Vic. Mommy planned the trip for daddy's birthday present. I was so lucky because I got to stay at home at Grandma and Grandpa Richey! While they were away, mommy and daddy got to go to the lake (daddy LOVED wakeboarding) , lay on the beaches of Lake Tahoe and explore Reno. They said they had so much fun and promise to take me next time. I can't wait!! Thanks grandma and grandpa for hanging out with me. I had soooo much fun!

Updates

A quick note... Makenna's surgery went well. She is feeling better & more aware daily! The doctor told us that the fluid had the consistency of molasses making it hard for her to hear. We are so glad that it is over and she is feeling better. I promise to post pictures of her in her surgery robe later (Our computer has been acting up:( )

Leid's Childrens Museum

Today we met up with some of mommy's teacher friends to go to the children's museum. It was fun. Here are some pictures of Adona, Miles, Sam and I playing around. I hope I can go back soon!!

Chuck E Cheese

Even though I celebrated my birthday many times, mommy and daddy still thought it was important to do something special on my "real" birthday! Daddy couldn't think of a better place than Chuck E Cheese's!!!! At first I wasn't so sure about it, but by the end I LOVED dancing and watching Chuck E Cheese! It was really fun!! (Sorry about the video being the wrong way!!

Las Vegas Birthday!

Special Thanks!

I just want to thank everyone for playing with me and making sure we had a great time in Ohio. I am very sad that mommy forgot to take pictures of me with everyone, but she promised to be better next time! I am looking forward to having another fun visit soon! :)
THANK YOU!!

Going to Amish country

On Thursday we went down to Amish country to go shopping. Mommy was telling me how the Amish live without cars and electricity. I thought that was pretty cool. I loved to watch the buggies and horses go by out the window. Mommy took some other neat pictures... like the hay stacks. Amish also don't use large farming machines. They do most of their work by hand. These were hay stacks that they stack one by one themselves. That sure sounds like a lot of work to me!! On our way we also saw some cute cows. We had to stop and take a picture. One of my favorite parts was driving by the raindeer farm. I have never seen a raindeer up close. They are SOOO pretty. Now I know why Santa likes them!! :)

New Friends!

While we were at Aunt Yvonne's house, I got to hang out with her granddaughter's (Katie, Kristen and Kelsey). I had so much fun. They loved to walk around and play with me. Mommy really enjoyed being able to shop and getting so many breaks! I am so lucky to have a great family!! :) Thanks girls. I already asked mom and dad to bring me back soon!! Keep your fingers crossed...

More History

As we ventured threw Ohio, we found more historical things. On our way to Aunt Yvonne's house we passed the house where Thomas Edison was born! Mommy told me he invented the light bulb! WOW!! Later we drove into Elyria, Ohio. That is where GG grew up. We drove by her old house (mommy forgot to take a picture, shucks!) and by the church were GG and Great Grandpa Buyer were married. It was pretty cool!

Eric and Marcia's house!

Before we left northern Ohio we went to Eric and Marcia's house for dinner. I got to go swimming with Mommy, Caroline, and kathryn. We had so much fun splashing around. I loved watching the girls jump in the water and splash. Hopefully when I am bigger I will do that too!!
