Silly Daddy

A few nights ago my daddy thought it would be funny to "eat" my fingers. Boy did I think that was the silliest thing in the world. Mommy and daddy love to hear me laugh...

Swimming with friends and family

For Memorial Day we had a BBQ at our house. My best friend Chase came over (with his mom and dad too!) . We went swimming in the pool together. I even got to swim with Grandma. She couldn't believe how much I like the water. I can even kick myself in a circle. Mommy and daddy say it is pretty funny to watch! Maybe you can come over and see too...

New Toys

So this past weekend Mommy & daddy bought me a new toy. My favorite cuz Ryder kept telling me all about this ball pit that his mommy bought him. I knew right away (from his stories) that I wanted one too. I begged mommy and grandma to get me one and they caved in! Here are some pictures of me playing inside the house. Daddy thinks it is a pretty cool toy too!! :) I can't wait until my friends come play too!

Happy Memorial Day! I want to send a special "Thank You" out to all our service men and women for protecting our country. We are lucky to have you!

Family Pictures

The day before Mother's Day we had a family photo shoot. Here are some of the pictures that they took. The are so beautiful that mommy decided that she had to share them with their friends. We hope you like them too! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Great Grandma Chase I missed you! Hopefully you will be feeling better next time!:)

Enjoy!

hanging out at the race

While we were out in the desert I got to hang out with my friend Kaylee. We played together on the chair and in the pack and play! Uncle Travis even let me "drive" the racecar!!! WOW!! Mommy put a picture of daddy and grandpa D after they did a practice start (look close at their hair. You can see they were going FAST!)

Daddy's first race

This weekend daddy had his first race. He was so excited to race with Grandpa D. Here are some pictures of the car before the race, the pit crew meeting, the race course and the boys flying by. We even got a picture of our team hottie, Auntie Andrea!! It was so fun to watch all the cars go by. Even though they didn't finish, I know that daddy had fun. He even told me he is going to race again in July! I can't wait too!!

Ahh teeth

We recently realized that Makenna's molars are pushing threw. I have been told that this is the most miserable part of teething. Well, my friends weren't joking around. In the picture of her "driving" daddy home she is naked because of a blow out. (we are pretty sure they are caused from these wonderful teeth!) Later on tonight she found her teething ring and decided to lean on the couch and chomp away. At least she was happy and not in pain!!:) I can't wait for this to be over. (I know, I know. I will say that AGAIN and AGAIN!)

9 MONTHS!

(Mommy) Well our little girl is 9 months old. It took me 6 tries to get a picture that we could finally read the "9 months old" part! She loves to get her hands on EVERYTHING! We went to the doctor this week and she is 19 lbs. 8oz. and 28 1/2 inches long. She is perfect and healthy! What a blessing...

Meeting new friends

This weekend Aunt Andrea had a party and I FINALLY got to hang out with Sadie and Shelby. Well, really Shelby. Sadie was trying her best to eat all of her bottle! They are so cute. I do have to tell you that I am a little jealous that they have so much hair. Mommy keeps telling me that I will get hair with time... Well, I am waiting! I hope I get to hang out with my new friends again soon!

Mommy's day out

This past weekend mommy got to go out with grandma, Aunt Andrea and some of their friends. They went to see the play "Dirty Dancing." I stayed with daddy, grandpa D and Uncle Travis in the garage! I think we all had lots of fun! :) (Mommy does wish that she had pictures of me after a day in the garage. I guess I was a little dirty...)

Trying to crawl...

AN UPDATE FROM MY MOMMY- Makenna has been getting REALLY frustrated lately because she can't move around. She can stand holding on to things and even walk around furniture, but she is not as independent as she would like. Jamie and I are trying to get her to try to crawl because we know that would be slightly easier than trying to master our balance. Two nights ago she actually took 3 little "steps". She got started and layed down and cried. She didn't know what else to do. We just laughed. Yes, we know... mean parents! Hopefully with time we will get there...

Daddy's Baseball Game!

On Thursday Mommy took me to Daddy's baseball game! We got there a little bit early, so mommy let me crawl (or try to) on the grass. I got to hang out with baby Tyson, Ashley, Jeff, Ginger and Ms. Christy. It was pretty fun. I hope that mommy will take me to another game soon!

Bath time with Ryder

When we were at home visiting this weekend cuz Ryder and I got to take bath's in Grandma's sink. I thought it was so funny to sit next to him! I tried to grab him and the water! I had SOOO much fun!

Clarissa's First Birthday

Well, it started! All of my friends started turning 1! I was very sad when mommy and daddy told me that I couldn't go to Kaylee's first birthday, so I was very happy to hear that I to go to Clarissa's birthday party. (I knew Kaylee would be there!) Grandma got a really silly picture of me wearing her classes on the way to the party. When I got there, my mommy let me sit on the grass and play with Kaylee. We got to share snacks and talk. Yes, even babies have to "catch up" on old times. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better Auntie Shawna showed up! When mommy wasn't looking she fed me frosting AND chocolate cake! Wow was it delicious. Mommy told me no more until my own first birthday... (she made me cry:(!!) Before we left Daddy took me in the bounce house. I just thought it was the greatest! Hopefully next time I will get to see mommy's friends Shelley and Kendal's animal show. I was sad to miss it, but at least I got to see the tortoise! :)
