Bow and Arrow

There was also an archery field.  We got to shoot a real bow and arrow.  Makenna was so excited to try this because we had been talking about it in the weeks before their trip.  For her birthday she is now asking for a bow and arrow!!

The "blackhole"

At Camp Whittle, they had a slide called "The Blackhole!"  They give you sleds and push you down!  They even have people at the bottom to catch you so you don't go too far!  Makenna loved it! She was telling everyone about her adventures in the blackhole!

Camp Whittle

One of the best parts of being in tribes is that Makenna gets to go on really cool trips with her dad.  This month it was going to Camp Whittle up in big bear.  It was still cold with snow around the cabin.  Here are some pictures of their trip!
The map showing where everything is...
The bunks that we got to sleep on!
 Our cabin!
 Daddy and I getting cozy
Getting ready to explore on the first day!
They started the day by hiking the mountain...
And came back to build up our energy after the hike to the top!
 Makenna with her new friends!
Daddy and Makenna had an amazing time together!  I can't wait to show you all of the memories that they made.

Baby shower to celebrate #3!

Melanie, Cayman and I getting ready to celebrate this baby to be!
I can't tell you how much I loved the yellow and grey theme (just like the nursery)! Ome and Aunt Dre didn't miss a beat!
 The tables!
 The candy bar!
Cake, Cookies and body scrub- OH MY!

Instead of doing a guest book, each person that came put a fingerprint on the tree.  I LOVE this detail!  Each person also decorated a letter of the alphabet to make the baby an ABC book.  I can't wait to see how it turns out!  It was a great day with family and friends.

Camping in our Cabin

Wyatt was so excited to wear his gear and get out in the dirt!
The inside of our cabin.  The door on the right is the kids room, the door on the left is the bathroom.  Behind us is the master bedroom.  It had a kitchenette as well!  It was a great place for us to stay!
We are almost there!  34 weeks and counting!
It was chilly in the morning, but Makenna was prepared!  One of the many beanies she brought with her!!

Exploring the Bat Caves

 Arriving at the bat caves...
Getting ready to explore with everyone!
Damien, Makenna, Ryder and Cameron ready to find some bats!!
All of our cars with the salton sea in the background!
 Makenna loving the exploration!
Another cool shot of the bat caves...

Salvation mountain

On the first day we took a drive out to Salvation Mountain.  This was created by one man, painting and molding dirt into a work of art.  It was really interesting to go see.  The kids thought it was cool to be able to walk all over it.

Glamis North for New Years!

Wyatt was trying to figure out how to get the trophy truck to start so he could take it for a spin!
Makenna loved giving Wyatt a ride around the kid track!  Neither one of them wanted to get off!
Enjoying the hot springs with daddy!
 Loving life!

For New Years this year we went camping at a new place called Glamis North.  It had great trails for day trips, hot springs and little cabins that we stayed in! (I will try to find more pictures of that later!!)  The kids loved camping with all of their friends and family.  i would go back there again without thinking twice! =)

Christmas

Makenna in all of her new gear!

Christmas is always a special time of year.  This year it was extra special for our family.  We were able to wake up in our own house, open presents, enjoy breakfast and explore our santa presents!  Around 10 we went up to Ome and Papa's house to open a few more presents!  I can't wait to continue our new traditions, especially with the new baby on the way.
