I want to walk!!

I keep telling my mom and dad that I want to be a big girl, so Daddy said he would walk with me. Look at how good I am getting. Mommy is trying to make me do tummy time so I can crawl too. So many things to do in a little short time! I can't wait to do it all!

SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

sick... AGAIN!!

Well, believe it or not Makenna got sick again! Our poor baby girl! This time around she managed to catch RSV. It is a resperatory virus that can be very harmful to infants. Because it is a virus, there is nothing we can really do but suck boogies and keep her elevated. Recently her doctor put her on a nebulizer to help her breating. This is her with her purple rhino mask. As I am sure you can tell, she is not a fan of the medicine, but it does seem to be helping! Yippy. We are almost over this one... hopefully we will stay nice and healthy for a while!

Failed Photo Shoot

My mommy wanted to have a photo shoot so we could have pictures of me to send out Valentines to our friends. Well... I thought that was such a funny idea and could not stop laughing and moving around. We decided that it was more fun to take random pictures, then to have a "photo shoot" anyways. I am very sorry that all of my friends won't be getting a valentine this year, but I promise next year. I am sending my love through my blog this year!! :)

Playing with Jade

During my play time tonight, Jade decided to come over and lay with me. I realized that I have never told Jade how much I love her. I decided to pet her and make sure she knew. Daddy caught it all on tape! :) Enjoy

Motorcycle Noises!!!

My mommy always tells me how my Uncle Travis makes the best motorcycle noises. So... I thought I would give him a run for his money!! Mommy caught me practicing my new noises. I think I sound pretty good! Mommy and Daddy think that I am so silly!

SUPER BOWL!

Tonight mom and dad had a Super Bowl party. Mommy and I wore our Cardinal red in hopes of cheering the Cardinals on! I even enjoyed a little tummy time before it got too crowded! Mommy's friend Jeannine brought me a special football shirt so that I could celebrate and feel in the spirit too! I love my new shirt. We also caught a great picture of everyone watching the 3-D commercials... don't they look silly?!?! I hope you all enjoyed your parties too. (Good Luck next year cards! :) )

Teeth

So Makenna's first teeth popped out on Friday evening! I think we are all VERY happy to have them out! Poor Makenna was not liking the pain! I know this picture isn't great, but Grandma Richey wanted to see her teeth, so here is my attempt! They are the little white dots in the middle!! Enjoy!! :)

Silly Makenna

Makenna still amazes us every day. She loves to sit in her new chair that she got for Christmas and jump in her jumperoo (video coming soon.) For those of you that are wondering, her shirt says Mommy and I love shopping... how true. The last picture Jamie and I had to include. We left a store and a mile later she was fast asleep fingers in mouth. How funny...

My first desert race!

This past weekend I spent in the desert with my family. Uncle Travis was going to race in Barstow and I couldn't wait. Mommy and Daddy brought all my warm clothes and my Ohio State chair!! I felt like such a BIG girl!! Cousin Ryder and I wore our M.O.R.E. off-road racing onesies! We were ready for the big day. It was hard to nap at times, but I managed to cuddle nicely in Grandma's and Daddy's arms!
In the end, Uncle Travis was able to get a 4th and 7th place finish! We were all so proud of him! We all walked down to the start finish to celebrate! We captured a picture of everyone cheering Uncle Trav on as he crossed start finish. You could tell he was excited too! I can't wait until the race in March when Daddy gets to drive the car too!

Getting Older

Believe it or not, I am five months old now! My mom and dad can't believe how fast I am growing. I now like to sit up on my own and play with all my new toys! I have started to talk A LOT and can even say "dad da"!

Pajama Photo Shoot

This Christmas WT Grandma gave me and all of my friends new pajama's. The great part was they have our names on the bum! After the baby shower all of the mommies decided to put us in our new jammies and have a photo shoot. It was quite a show! Kaylee wanted to scoot away and my cuz Ryder wanted to roll on top of me! My mommy thought it was so funny... I finally had to start screaming to get him off me. Boys... they are crazy!

Auntie Amanda's Baby Shower

This weekend we had a baby shower for Auntie Amanda and Uncle Sam. Here are some pictures of me in my "artist" outfit from great-aunt Nancy! I was so lucky to hang out with all my friends and family! Mommy keeps telling me that really soon I am going to have two more girlfriends, Sadie and Shelby! I am really excited and can't wait!

My First Airplane Ride

I am such a lucky girl!! This past weekend I got to fly home to Grandma & Grandpa Chase's house for Auntie Amanda's baby shower. It was my first time on an airplane and mommy said that I did pretty good. I really enjoyed being a big girl and sitting in the airplane seat all by myself. I even met a nice Southwest employee that told me I was SO cute!! :) I really like flying and can't wait to do it again!

On Vacation I got to go out to eat many times. Mom finally decided that I was old enough to sit in a big kid high chair all by myself! I loved it! I even got to drink from my new sippy cup. Becoming a big girl is so much fun! I can't wait to do more fun things!!

My first snow trip!

This week Grandpa D took us to Mammoth. Mommy and Daddy were really excited because they got to "hit the mountain"... whatever that means! I was so lucky because I got to play in the snow. I had a snow suit and everything!! :) Daddy even took me down a hill on a sled. (The video will follow soon!) While we were outside, my cuz Ryder and I decided to pose for a few photos!We really hope you like them! My uncle Travis, david, and Bryan built the tallest snowman we had ever seen. About 8 feet tall! Check out our pictures standing by it! Who knew that snow could be so much fun! I can't wait to do it again!
