Hiking Red Rock

This weekend my mom and dad took me to Red Rock to go hiking again. We took our friends Ang & Chase and met one of mommy's friends Jen. This time we went on the children's trail and my mom told me all about the different plants and trees. I was excited because I got to ride in my new backpack! It was so cool!! I even took a little nap at the end!

Recently we had some pictures of Makenna taken. It was suppose to be for 6 months, but I was a little late on the get go. Not shocking. I know that I am not suppose to put these everywhere, but they were so cute I couldn't resist showing her off! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

7 months old!

As we all know time flies when you are having fun, and boy are we! Mommy & daddy are amazed at how big I am getting and all of the things that I can now do. Here I am dressed up like a flower posing for my monthy birthday shot! To celebrate I had another tooth come in. Now I have 4! Mommy thinks that 2 more are trying to come in. All I know is that they hurt!!

New Toys!

Mommy got me a new play tent! I think that it is the best toy EVER! I have a door and it has a real doorbell! I love to sit and play with all the toys. I hope my friends come over soon and play!

Sooooo cute!

I had to put this post on because it was too cute. This morning I heard Makenna on the monitor so I went in to get her ready. I found her laying with her arm around her Mini Mouse doll mumbling words to her (threw her binki, of course!) I just happened to have the camera on me and caught it. I though it was adorable and had to share it! Enjoy

Pretty Lady

My mommy said that she wanted some pretty pictures of me in a tu-tu (whatever that is), so I agreed to take some cute pictures. Here are just a few from our little photo shoot at home. Mommy says I am such a ham!

My First Cubbies Game

Great news! The cubbies are in town and playing at Cashman field! Mommy and Daddy were so excited that they decided to take me to a "practice" spring training game. I want to give Auntie Jill a big thank you for my cute cubbies shirt. Many of the fans liked it! Mommy and Daddy tried to take as many pictures as they could. Wow are they silly!

My First NASCAR Race

This weekend Daddy and Mommy took me to my first NASCAR race. I was so excited that I put on my Kasey Kane onsie and my checkered flag socks and shoes! Boy was I ready. I got to see the cars, the infield, AND flying Elvis's! How cool is that?! We also got a family photo with Kasey Kane (well a cardboard version anyways!) Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me. By time the race started I was pretty tired and ready to go home. Poor daddy only saw the first 15 laps! It is a good thing that there are more years ahead!

Eating Cookies!

This week Mommy and Mrs. Christy let me have my first cookie. I think that these things are the BEST! I made sure that I made a BIG mess for mommy and daddy to clean up. I hope they give me more cookies soon!

Recently Daddy went to Mexico with Uncle Travis, Grandpa and some friends for Uncle Travis' birthday. Mommy took me to the beach to play with my friend Claire and my cousin Ryder. We had so much fun. Ryder let me play with his shopping cart and played with me on the beach! I can't wait to run on the beach!!

I want to walk!!

I keep telling my mom and dad that I want to be a big girl, so Daddy said he would walk with me. Look at how good I am getting. Mommy is trying to make me do tummy time so I can crawl too. So many things to do in a little short time! I can't wait to do it all!

SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

Our baby girl is already 6 months old! Wow, how time flies. The pictures describe our feelings exactly! First, she reads her sign...

sick... AGAIN!!

Well, believe it or not Makenna got sick again! Our poor baby girl! This time around she managed to catch RSV. It is a resperatory virus that can be very harmful to infants. Because it is a virus, there is nothing we can really do but suck boogies and keep her elevated. Recently her doctor put her on a nebulizer to help her breating. This is her with her purple rhino mask. As I am sure you can tell, she is not a fan of the medicine, but it does seem to be helping! Yippy. We are almost over this one... hopefully we will stay nice and healthy for a while!

Failed Photo Shoot

My mommy wanted to have a photo shoot so we could have pictures of me to send out Valentines to our friends. Well... I thought that was such a funny idea and could not stop laughing and moving around. We decided that it was more fun to take random pictures, then to have a "photo shoot" anyways. I am very sorry that all of my friends won't be getting a valentine this year, but I promise next year. I am sending my love through my blog this year!! :)

During my play time tonight, Jade decided to come over and lay with me. I realized that I have never told Jade how much I love her. I decided to pet her and make sure she knew. Daddy caught it all on tape! :) Enjoy

Motorcycle Noises!!!

My mommy always tells me how my Uncle Travis makes the best motorcycle noises. So... I thought I would give him a run for his money!! Mommy caught me practicing my new noises. I think I sound pretty good! Mommy and Daddy think that I am so silly!

SUPER BOWL!

Tonight mom and dad had a Super Bowl party. Mommy and I wore our Cardinal red in hopes of cheering the Cardinals on! I even enjoyed a little tummy time before it got too crowded! Mommy's friend Jeannine brought me a special football shirt so that I could celebrate and feel in the spirit too! I love my new shirt. We also caught a great picture of everyone watching the 3-D commercials... don't they look silly?!?! I hope you all enjoyed your parties too. (Good Luck next year cards! :) )

Teeth

So Makenna's first teeth popped out on Friday evening! I think we are all VERY happy to have them out! Poor Makenna was not liking the pain! I know this picture isn't great, but Grandma Richey wanted to see her teeth, so here is my attempt! They are the little white dots in the middle!! Enjoy!! :)
